Paris Fashion Week was launched in 1973 and has since become the pinnacle of the global fashion business. Every February, New York, London, and Milan conduct their own fashion weeks, but Paris unquestionably hosts the most prominent event.

Paris Fashion Week activities take place in a variety of locations across the city. The shows are organized into three categories based on what will be occurring in fashion the next season: prêt-à-porter, haute couture, and men's fashion. Each category has its own set of dates. The Louvre and the Jardin des Tuileries are the most anticipated attractions in the 1st arrondissement. You may meet prominent models, stylists, and fashion magazine editors here. Top fashion houses such as Chanel, Givenchy, Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Céline have annual fashion shows in historic structures such as the Grand Palais and the Carrousel du Louvre.

The invites are, of course, in high demand and difficult to obtain unless you work in the fashion sector. Smaller brand exhibitions are obviously more accessible and well worth going. All Paris Fashion Week shows are well-prepared and planned, and are hosted in various locales. If you don't get any invitations, you may go to a neighborhood pub and meet designers, models, photographers, bloggers, and influencers as they unwind after a long day.
